What is Your Favorite Movie?
You have probably heard the question What is your favorite movie? many times in conversations with friends, family meetings, parties, and even in classrooms, especially when a teacher wants to know their students' favorite tastes in movies genres. But the thing goes further than this point; as a teacher, I use this question to establish a relationship with my students. I need them to feel confident enough to share the type of films they like the most, the elements of the movie that get their minds and hearts, and the role of the characters that make some of them unforgettable. Of course, there are other elements such as the moral or the message that the producers want to convey and the soundtrack that make people feel emotions. I love the kind of films that make me reflect on issues like life or death; movies that awake my consciousness and make me think and learn something new. There are plenty of movies and thousands of reasons to explain people's preferences; as a good teacher, I respect my students' opinions. Can you tell me what your favorite movie is? Why do you like that movie? What is its moral?. Well, here you have a space to answer all these questions.
One of my favorite movies is Anne with an “E”. It is charming, shocking, and moves you too the past time. It is about an orphan girl adopted by older brothers. Also, she faces great challenges in life. Firstly, the main character is Anne. She is very intelligent, curious, and lives school stage together with her foster parents. They feel blissful with the new family member. Moreover, the story takes place in Prince Edward Island, Canada. They live in the countryside far away from the city. Besides, the moral of the story is that we should think before acting because we can get into many problems. We have to analyze the events before to acting. Anne teaches us this amazing learning with her mistakes. In conclusion, this movie is very entertaining and has different plots that leave us experiences. I recommend this majestic movie since we will learn the values and life lessons necessary for personal growth.

My favorite movie is "Boulevard". It is a romantic comedy film; it is about the love between an unusual couple. It is also about a boy who wants to overcome his drug addiction. He had this problem since he did not have good relationships with his family, especially with his father. Soon, he discovers the love in a simple but very special girl. First of all, the main characters are Luke Holland and Hasley Weigel. Luke is a young man with drug addiction problems, mysterious and serious. Hasley is a very distracted, responsible, funny and curious girl. Also, the story takes place in Australia; most of the film was developed in a freshman university. They live many adventures, problems, sadness but they are always together. In fact, he comes to see life differently with Hasley; he comes to know that he can be a better person. Finally, the moral is that we can always get out of trouble even if things don't seem to be right because things are not always what we think. In conclusion, this is a romantic and beautiful film with a deep meaning aimed at youth. I recommend this movie to young people who have family problems. I think it can be of great help to them.

One of my favorite movies is Coraline and the Secret Door. It is an intriguing movie. It is fascinating and unique. This movie can cause curiosity and suspense. It tells about a girl who explores a fantasy world with dark secrets. Firstly, the main character is Coraline. She is a pretty girl. She has a restless personality and likes the unusual. Additionally, the story takes place in Pontiac, Michigan. The Jones family moved to a shared house called the “Pink Palace.” Finally, the moral is that we should be grateful for what we have and not complain. Coraline complained about the boring things in her life until for strange and chilling events, she began to appreciate the little things with her family. In conclusion, this movie is kind of creepy but it has interesting things. I recommend it because it is animated but not for young children. This movie is perfect for people who like terror and suspense.

Under the same star is a romantic and sad film. It is about two sick guys with lung disease who fall in love. The boy dies, and she misses him too much. She begins to neglect herself, but in a moment, she remembers some words of encouragement. Firstly, the main characters are Grace Lancaster and Augustus Waters. Grace is a Czech woman who was ill. She believed her life had no meaning, and she wanted to die. Augustus is a boy who is rebellious and has the same disease. Besides, the story takes place in the city of Amsterdam. Lastly, the moral of the movie teaches us that despite the death of loved ones, we have to continue with our lives. It still hurts, but we have to be strong to resist the pain. I recommend this movie because it is a special film that touches your heart. In my opinion, you have to see this film because it will leave you with good teaching.

“Brave” is an animated movie full of action and adventure. It tells us the story of a Scottish teenager named Merida. She is the brave daughter of a Scottish King Fergus and Queen Elinor, and she is a skilled archer. First, Merida is a stubborn teenager of royal blood who struggles to shape her own destiny. Her father King Fergus, is a protector of the kingdom and his family, and he is a heroic warrior. Furthermore, her mother Queen Elinor is an example of elegance, wisdom and strength and is dedicated body and soul to the well-being of her family and the kingdom. Her brothers Harris, Hubert and Hamish are identical triplets. They are adorable redheads always ready to do tricks especially when it comes to getting candy. Finally, an eccentric and well-known witch grants Mérida an unfortunate wish. The movie is funny and enjoyable especially for the family. In conclusion, the only thing Mérida seeks is to discover the meaning of courage and undo a bestial curse. She has to do the things right because in that country an old tradition annoys and causes chaos in the kingdom.

My favorite movie is Instructions Not Included which is a comedy and drama movie that makes you think about parental love. The main character is Valentin Bravo, a womanizer, and single man, who enjoys his life with different women. One day a girl from his past arrives to leave a baby at his door and disappears. Valentin decides to look for her mother in Los Angeles, but in the process, he ends up loving her daughter and looking for a home for the two of them. Maggie is the little girl who arrives to change Valentin’s life. This story originates from Acapulco and Los Angeles. The moral of the film is that the love of a father is so great and sacrificed as a mother’s and that we must enjoy life to the fullest because death has no age, time, or date. Finally, this film has an excellent drama that touches your heart and leaves you thinking about everything you have. I highly recommend it because, in addition to making you smile, it gives you a great reflection of life.
