Is There Any Kind of Art in Ecuador?
Ecuador is located in South America with the Pacific Ocean on the west. It has a lot of blessings due to the weather and the richness of its land. The historians said this country was part of an immense reign called The Tahuantinsuyo along with other countries. Perhaps due to this background, its culture is within every region of the cities. For instance, the colonial churches in Quito, the ruins of Ingapirca near Canar, and the marvelous city of Cuenca; were designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites. In regards the art, Ecuador has many exponents such as the famous Oswaldo Guayasamin, Eduardo Kingman, Enrique Tabara, Gonzalo Endara, and more. Some Ecuadorian artists have based their work on geographical land and folk traditions. They have developed art through different forms such as paintings, sculptures, wood carving, metal, and all types of artisans that work in several ways. What do you think about the art in Ecuador?
Painting is one of the art forms of communication that allows us to express our ideas through our senses. All the artworks designed by various artists are part of our culture. First, painters can make their paintings in different sizes and styles. The styles can be realism, surrealism, impressionism, and more. Besides, the designs can be made of various compositions such as light, colors, and symmetry. In addition, painting artists can make varied designs with a lot of materials. Some of the materials are indispensable such as painting, brushes, and canvas. There are stunning designs made by national painters in the country, for example, Oswaldo Guayasamin's, and Eduardo Kingman`s art. Lastly, they can use some recipes to create their work. The ingredients can be sugar, salt, water, and starch. The preparation is very easy for all people. To conclude, painting can be a space to help people make their ideas and thoughts into masterpieces. It would be amazing to create our designs according to the styles, colors, shapes, and textures we like the most. And why not let our imagination fly to become great artists in the country.

Dancing in Guayaquil is very important since it represents the culture of our city. First, according to some people who are experts in this subject, there are four important useful techniques in dancing. They are the Duncan technique, Graham technique, Hawkins technique, and the Lemon technique. Each of them has different ways of teaching and at the end, there is always an original, fine and elegant result. In addition, there are different types of dancing, but the one that is most practiced in Guayaquil is the Folk Dance. This dancing represents the traditions of our people with the beautiful and colorful clothing that depends on each region. Moreover, music is the main element that gives much more movement and life to this wonderful activity. The typical musical in our country is the "Sanjuanito"; it is an autochthonous and popularized music in Ecuador. In conclusion, I recommend that you to come and learn more about our folk dance. Besides, you can enjoy the beautiful landscapes and taste our delicious typical food that our city has.

Dancing is probably the most beautiful manifestation of art because people can express their emotions using their bodies and gestures. It has been considered an art since historical times, and it is still my favorite for different reasons. First, dancing for Ecuadorians reflects the culture of the different regions. Each region has its typical dance with its attire. For example, the Marimba and Amorfinos are from the coastal region; the San Juanito and Pasacalle are in the Sierra region. Besides, dances like Marimba have helped develop the culture of the African American people in Ecuador, so we can use the typical dances of each province to enrich the culture of each region. Lastly, dancing can be inspiring for the people in Ecuador. We can use typical dances to make people transmit stories from the past to the present. This way, the culture of the country grows and spreads. In conclusion, dancing for all Ecuadorians is such a special gift that continues to bring us happiness because it is something we have in our blood.
